Jeremy Web[b] Internet Marketing ConsultantHello {FIRST_NAME} It’s Jeremy Webb here with another short but action packed newsletter for anyone who wants to increase their profits from the web. Thank you for reading this far! I appreciate that you are a busy person, and you receive so many emails that your finger is never far from the delete button. Your perseverance will be rewarded with:
When people have asked me “Should I pay to have my web site translated into different languages for different markets?” my answer has almost always been “No.” The reason for this is that for the translation to be of use to your visitor, they have to have been able to find your web site in the first place. Yet adding foreign language text to your site will not automatically pop you into the search engine results of the country in question. Google.co.uk and Google.es (Spain) serve very different results, as you would expect. This is where Carme comes in. She is in charge of our “Spanish Translation & Promotion” service. (Another prize is available for the person who comes up with a better name!) For only £300 we will:
Contact us if this is of interest, or to talk about wider Spanish translation projects. Next month I might introduce you to Federico... Make your web site pay.Back in 2004 Google started to send me cheques for hundreds of Dollars a month, and I became very interested in monetising web sites. (Now they pay me directly into my bank account – dollar cheques are a pain!) Daddy of the revenue generating schemes is Google Adsense. It is almost certainly the best way to generate revenue from visitors. In essence it is very simple – you just allow Google to serve ads on your site, and if clicked, you make money. There is a second option within the Adsense programme, where you put a search box on your site which works like a Google search. When the results of your search are shown, if anyone clicks on an advert, again you get paid. We have made a few “themed” search pages for charities using this system. If the charity gets all its supporters to use this search page rather than the default Google page, they can make handy additional revenue – probably thousands of pounds each year.

Google Adsense and affiliate schemes won’t suit every web site, but if you carefully integrate any solution into your site, you can get a significant return for your efforts and make use of the 99% that get away! Congratulations! You made it to the bottom of the email! Your reward is a voucher for 20% off web hosting at our niche web hosting business, Search Engine Friendly Hosting, (or www.sefhost.com for short!) Just order any hosting package and enter code news01 to get 20% off. That means you could get a year’s web hosting for as little as £21.50! Hurry though, as the offer ends 1st August 2008. Search engine friendly hosting is just that – custom made hosting packages that compete head on with the big boys of hosting on price but pack in specific search engine friendly features you won’t find at 1and1, UK2, Fast Hosts and the other mass market hosting companies. Our servers are also UK based, fast and reliable. Please do compare the packages with your current host – I’ll happily arrange a free trial for you if you contact me.
Well, I have kept you long enough. If you are interested in anything mentioned here, or want to ask me anything (within reason), do get in touch! Regards, Jeremy Web[b]
