Calling all Filmmakers...we want your films!

The San Francisco Ocean Film Festival announces the official launch of its Call for Entries for the 9th Annual San Francisco Ocean Fillm Festival scheduled for March 7 - 11, 2012.

SFOFF is North America's premier cinemaquatic event, featuring five days of films and interactive opportunities to mingle with filmmakers, blue planet lovers, industry experts and ocean inspired film audiences from around the world.

Filmmakers from every continent have come to regard SFOFF as the premier ocean film festival, featuring more than 50 critically acclaimed independent films chosen from hundreds of submissions. The films offer a rare and unique opportunity to learn about the vital importance of the world’s ocean and invite filmgoers to participate in panel discussions, filmmaker Q&A sessions and special screenings unique to our film festival.

All films will be screened at the newly renovated Bay Theater at Pier 39, located next door to our film festival partner, the Aquarium of the Bay. The 270-seat Bay Theater boasts a 1,000 square foot full production stage, as well as a café and lounge area, serving as the perfect San Francisco Bay waterfront backdrop for all festival related events.
