HOMELESS CONNECTIONS Homeless Connections is Wednesday, Oct. 28 at 6:30 pm starting at Jesse's place. We will have dinner, put care packages together for the homeless, have a brief prayer time, then head over to San Francisco at 8:00. Our goal is to be done by 10 pm. We'll bring donated clothing to pass out also. If you have blankets, jackets, sweaters, sweatshirts, etc. that you don't need, please bring them. Please be in prayer for the evening and for the people we meet. It may be cold, so dress warmly.

PROJECT OPEN HAND Compassion Ministry will be preparing food and helping package meals with Project Open Hand on Saturday, October 31, 11 am – 4 pm in San Francisco at 730 Polk Street. Project Open Hand has been providing Meals with Love to people living with HIV/AIDS, seniors, and Homebound individuals living with serious illness since 1985. Volunteers must be at least 15 years old, and a maximum of 8 - 10 volunteers are needed. Please sign up in the foyer or contact Wayne Dong or click below. I WANT TO HELP

TODDLER ROOM COORDINATOR AND VOLUNTEERS NEEDED. We are blessed with many young children and have an ongoing need for more toddler room volunteers. We need approximately 3 more people to volunteer in the toddler classroom monthly, however if you are available only occasionally – we can use that help too. Please contact Li-Mei Johnson with your availability. We are also in need of an administrative Toddler Room Co-ordinator. This person helps keep the schedule and maintains communication with volunteers and parents. TELL ME MORE

LET'S TALK ABOUT VISION FOR CLC! Please join us for the Leader's Community Gathering on Sunday, Nov. 8th from 12:30 to 2pm. Pastor Andrew will be sharing some of the exciting things God has placed on his heart for CLC for 2010 and beyond. There will be an opportunity during this meeting to dialogue with Andrew as he continues in the process of being affirmed as lead pastor. We will also have a short 'debrief' time for the worship service that was held at EFCO the week before.
