Thank you for taking the time to read this newsletter! As we are all becoming more conscious of our diminishing resources, I thought I'd explore how I could reduce my carbon footprint and save money at the same time. I discovered that my family's footprint is much larger than I'd like, and I'm resolved to reduce it. To clear a tub or sink stoppage: Instead of reaching for harmful chemicals, pour 1 cup of baking soda and 1 cup of salt down the drain and then follow with 1 cup of white vinegar. Let it sit 15 - 20 minutes, then follow with a pot of boiling water.
