Volunteers Needed for Girls Rock and Ladies Rock Camps
GR!C’s first camp session of 2011 is fast approaching, and we’re still in need of a few helpers to round out our volunteer staff. We could use a few more
instrument instructors (am only),
band coaches (pm only), and
DJs as well as bands to perform at our afternoon assemblies during the week. In addition, we’re gathering up volunteers of all stripes for Ladies Rock Camp and the second session of Girls Rock Camp. If you fit the bill for any of our positions and want to pitch in, fill out a
volunteer application or email: volunteer@girlsrockchicago.org

Girls Rock! Chicago Teams up with the Chicago Public Library
We’re working with Chicago Public Library to help Chicago kids & adults get more involved with music. So far we have two workshops set up for this summer!
The first, on June 29th, will focus on the craft of songwriting, and we’re looking for
volunteer instructors who can share tips and techniques. Then on July 14th we will be
teaching kids about the history of women in all genres of music. For more information
or to learn about teaching opportunities for these and future workshops, contact jessica@girlsrockchicago.org
