Chris Walsh was recently named the Director of Innovation and Design at New Tech Network, the Napa, Calif.-based school development organization that supports the start-up and implementation of 21st-century high schools. Walsh is an experienced K-12 educator, media producer, and entrepreneur. He is a trainer focused on the ways that social media can improve teaching and learning. His past projects include Edutopia’s Digital Generation Project, the U.S. Dept. of Education's "Doing What Works" Web site, the Google Teacher Academy, and the Infinite Thinking Machine. Walsh earned his M.A. in “Learning, Design, and Technology” from Stanford, and a B.A. and M.Ed. from UCLA.
