CIS of Kansas receives $80,000 from the CIS Impact Fund
|
|
The CIS National office granted CIS of Kansas $80,000 from the Impact Fund, created to strengthen the CIS network. The Impact Fund grant will enhance our ability to provide integrated student services. CIS of Kansas has awarded $50,000 of the funds to CIS of KCK/Wyandotte County, CIS of Ottawa, and CIS of Wichita/Sedgwick County. This funding will help establish three new comprehensive service sites in Northeast Kansas, as well as assist these affiliates as they prepare for CIS's National Accreditation Review. Each is working to fully implement CIS's Total Quality System standards within the year.
The remaining portion of the grant will help CIS of Kansas hire a Director of Development to conduct fundraising activities, as well as support other state office staff.
