General Tour Itinerary

Day 1 - Depart the USA

Your spiritual pilgrimage begins as you depart the USA on an overnight flight.

Day 2 - Arrival in the Holy Land

You will arrive at Ben Gurion International Airport in Tel Aviv. Time permitting we’ll see some sites such as Jaffa. Then we’ll head to your hotel in Tel Aviv, where you will enjoy dinner and a good night's sleep.

Day 3 - Ceasarea Maritima/Mt. Carmel/Megiddo/Nazareth    View mapIsrael---Sea-of-Galilee

After a great Israeli Breakfast, Visit the Roman Aqueduct and Theatre at Caesarea Maritima, a center of the early Christians. Here, Cornelius became the first Gentile to be baptized as followers of Jesus (Acts 10) and Paul was imprisoned before being taken to Rome for Trial. Then we will stop at Mt Carmel (1 Kings 18) to hear about the Prophet Elijah. From there we travel the ancient caravan route to Tel Megiddo where we will overlook the Jezreel Valley also known as the "valley of Armageddon.   From there we will visit Nazareth and then travel down to the Sea of Galilee to our hotel at Nof Ginosar.

Day 4: - Galilee  View map

Jesus BoatWith Bible in hand, cross the waters of the Sea of Galilee. Along the way, we will sing, pray and worship the Jesus who clams the sea. our tour will take us to Capernaum - the center of Jesus’ ministry in the Galilee. We will also visit Bet Sadia and Chorazin – the villages known as the evangelical triangle. These are the villages where Jesus taught, where He healed the sick, and where the people witnessed many miracles.  We will further visit the village of Magdala the home of Mary Magdalene to see the very latest excavations  of a beautiful first century synagogue. We will then visit the place on the shore of the Sea of Galilee where Jesus appeared to his disciples after his resurrection. This is the place where Peter was forgiven and restored to ministry by Jesus. Next we will visit the Mount of the Beatitudes where we will recall the famous Sermon on the Mount. At the end of the day we will visit a tributary of the Jordan River at Yardenit for an opportunity to be baptized in the Holy Land.

Day 5 - Beit Shean, Qumran, and Feast of Tabernacles opening night.

Today we begin our journey south down the Jordan Valley into the desert of Israel known as the Negev. Along the way we will stop to explore the incredible ruins of Beit Shean. This was part of a network of cites under Greek rule known as the Decapolis. It sits at a strategic cross road in the Jordan valley and today represents some of the most impressive Greek and Roman era archeological excavations in the world. Our journey today will take us to Qumran, the place where the now famous Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. We will see the remains of an ancient community of scribes known the Essenes who worked to preserve the Torah and the writings of the prophets of Israel. This evening we will join the nations that have gathered in the desert for a very special Feast of Tabernacles meal and celebration sponsored by the International Christian Embassy in Jerusalem (ICEJ). Later in the evening we will arrive at our resort hotel at the Dead Sea.

Today we get the rare opportunity to visit an exact replica of the Tabernacle of Moses. This impressive display stands in the wilderness of Timnah, a geological park in southern Israel. While there we can visit the nearby site of “Solomon’s Mines” where copper has been excavated for centuries. In the afternoon we will reserve some “spa” time for everyone to enjoy the Dead Sea.

DAY 7  Masada/En Gedi and Jerusalem

In the early morning, we will climb by cable car to the plateau that is the desert fortress of Masada. This was the stronghold and southern palace of Herod the Great. This would become a place of refuge for rebels fleeing Jerusalem in 70 AD. We will retell the story of their last stand against an entire legion of Roman soldiers.  Later in the day we will visit another place of refuge for a king of Israel, Ein Gedi, where David hid from Saul.

  Today we will visit the Haas Promenade and enjoy a panoramic view from the south of Jerusalem, the Old City walls and the hill called Mount Moriah where Abraham was commanded by God to offer Isaac as a burnt offering. We will view the Kidron Valley and the Valley of Gehenna. We will Stand atop the Mount of Olives as Jesus did and enjoy a remarkable view of the “Golden City” of Jerusalem, including the Temple Mount and Dome of the Rock. Our journey today will follow in the footsteps of Jesus as we walk the Palm Sunday path the Garden of Gethsemane . We will visit the house of Caiaphas the high priest where Jesus was brought to trial, and where Peter denied Jesus as the Messiah. We will visit the Southern Steps of the Temple Mount and walk along the famous Western Wall. We will conclude our day in Jerusalem with a visit to the Garden Tomb for an opportunity to observe the Lords Supper.

    The day begins with a tour of the Israel Museum of Antiquities and a chance to see an     impressive model city representing Jerusalem in the 2nd Temple Period. In the afternoon     we will join thousands of others in the JERUSALEM PARADE to Celebrate the Jubilee     of Jerusalem.

Day 10 Final Day Touringgarden tomb

We will visit Latrun, an active military base with museum. Visit and worship at the Garden Tomb, possible site of the garden of Joseph of Arimathea and experience the reality of the Resurrection. Your afternoon is free for exploring.  Close out our time in Israel with a Farewell dinner and a good nights sleep

Day 11 -  Return Home
