Idea Club April 27th to discuss Green Microfinance...

The next Idea Club (an informal monthly discussion group) will tackle the topic of  Green Microfinance.   How does the practice of Green Microfinance work to move sustainability forward on both a local and global scale? Can organizations like Sustainable Path Foundation further progress by engaging in Green Microfinance investments?  Are you interested in learning more about Green Microfinance for your personal finances?   Perhaps by sharing resources and information we can begin to examine if Green Microfinance is a change vehicle that deserves further investigation.  For more information about Idea Club or to participate in an online discussion about this and other topics, visit the Idea Club Blog.  Please RSVP if you plan on joining us for this discussion on Monday, April 27th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Sustainable Path office

Climate Change and Water Seminar being broadcast on the Seattle Channel...

Did you miss our March 25th seminar Climate Change and Water:  Local Perspectives on a Global Problem
with Philip Mote and Steve Malloch?  It will be broadcast on the Seattle Channel (Cable 21) through the end of April.  Visit the Seattle Channel for show times.

Seminar Synopsis: Climate change is heating up our planet. Here in Washington we are beginning to get a glimpse of what the future holds for us – sometimes too much water and at other times, too little water. How do we respond to the prospect of more floods, drought, wildfires, and other catastrophes? This seminar looks at our current situation and puts forward community-wide solutions for how we respond to serious issues relating to growth, development, climate, and community. Learn what you can do in your home and with your lifestyle that can reduce not just your carbon footprint, but also your “water footprint.”

Give us feedback on our seminar series.  We always appreciate hearing from the audience.

Join us for the last seminar in our 2009 Seeking Sustainable Solutions seminar series...
