On Sunday, June 24, poachers and illegal miners launched a devastating attack against the Okapi Wildlife Reserve in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The rebels killed six people and 13 okapis, torched buildings and stole everything. Staff and local people coming out of hiding don't even have food to eat.
We've already raised $28,380 for the Okapi Conservation Project Emergency Relief Fund. But we need your help to send $50,000 to support the Okapi Wildlife Reserve after this brutal attack.
To donate online, click on the button below and select okapi from the drop-down menu. On behalf of the okapi and the people who risk their lives every day to protect them, thank you for your support.
