 October Saturday Cooking Classes at Back Forty
Crackling Pork Skin and Dinner Included
Chef Shanna Pacifico will teach technique classes on Saturday afternoons in October demonstrating the preparation of porchetta, the whole stuffed baby pig redolent with garlic, fennel and herbs and roasted until the skin crackles. Learn how to source, butcher, stuff, tie and roast the pig and then partake in a whole hog feast at the Farm Table ending with lard-crusted apple pie and vanilla ice cream. Back Forty's house red and local brews are included in the fee and the feast is limited to 12 people, so early reservations are suggested.
