Meet the new agencies in learning and skills The Third Sector National Learning Alliance is holding two events where third sector learning and training providers can meet and hear from senior staff at the Young People's Learning Agency, REACT at the Local Government Agency and the Skills Funding Agency.
There are two events - running on February 26 in Leeds and March 4 in London.
Delegates will be updated on how the new agencies and arrangements will fit with and work in partnership with third sector providers and representatives.

Skills – Third Sector developing apprenticeship framework Skills – Third Sector is writing a framework for apprenticeships to meet the needs of third sector organisations.
They’re currently consulting on the framework and need your input to make sure it reflects the views of third sector employers and training providers.

Workforce Development's online resources updated Case studies
NCVO Workforce Development have recently collected new case studies from a variety of voluntary sector organisations, covering topics such as changing pension schemes, developing and implementing training programmes and improving recruitment and retention. These have now been published on our website and are available to download for free at www.ncvo-vol.org.uk/hr-case-studies.
HRBank
The HRBank is an online resource of sample job descriptions and HR policies, which have been donated by voluntary sector organisations and can be requested online. We’ve recently added over 80 new policies and job descriptions. Visit HRBank at www.ncvo-vol.org.uk/workforce-development/hrbank.
’How To’ Guides
We are continuing to develop a series of HR ‘How To’ Guides, and have recently published a new guide on ‘How to successfully recruit to your organisation’.
