Dear COMMUNICATIONS,

Prayer is God's method of communicating with us and  giving us power, grace, strength and most of all Himself. He gave us prayer as a place to flee in times of emotional, spiritual or physical need. God welcomes us to his audience in prayer. Prayer is both an exalted privilege and a spiritual necessity. Prayer enables us to live in the sunshine of Gods presence. A lot happens when we pray.

Our prayers never burden or weary God. Every sincere prayer He hears. God wants us to pray with holy boldness. He wants us to ask for our needs. We become linked with Him when we pray. Our hurt becomes His hurt. Our concerns become His.

Prayer is to be our first activity of each new day. “Consecrate yourself to God each morning; make this your first work. Let your prayer be. ‘Take me, O Lord, as wholly thine. I lay all my plans at your feet. Use me today. Abide with me.” Surrender all your plans for the day to Him to be carried out or given us as He shall indicate. Wasn’t He the One who said, ‘without me you can do nothing?”

Denton Rhone

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus"
Philippians 4:6-7
