March 2010 Epilepsy Foundation Eastern PA E-News

Join us in Harrisburg, Tuesday, March 23rd, 2010
Legislative Breakfast-Room 60 East Wing, 7:30am-9am

Join us to advocate for epilepsy funding in Harrisburg on Tuesday, March 23rd from 7:30 a.m. to early afternoon.  The Epilepsy Foundation Eastern PA will join forces with the Epilepsy Foundation Western/Central PA to discuss epilepsy services across the state with our legislators.  If you can make it to an early breakfast in Harrisburg, please RSVP to the Foundation at (215) 629-5003 x105 or email amccartin@efepa.org.

Can't make the Legislative Breakfast on the 23rd?  You can still be involved by calling, emailing, mailing or faxing your local state legislators and ask them to stop by the breakfast. We have an example letter for you to edit and send to your local legislators on our website to help you get started.  Make sure you include your personal story and how the Epilepsy Foundation Eastern PA has positively affected you!

This website will help you find your legislators by punching in your zip code on the top right corner: www.legis.state.pa.us/index.cfm.

Remember the squeaky wheel always gets the grease...we need to talk about epilepsy!
