Overcast skies couldn’t keep us from sailing down Broad Street in our fabulous 85^th Anniversary float in the Ukrop’s Parade December 5^th!  The real stars of the show – our awesome volunteers who designed, painted, glued, stapled, sawed, nailed, walked, and sang. Thank you so much, Acorn Sign Graphics, for growing this idea into a wonderful creation.

Children of all ages and their families enjoyed a magical night of festivities at ChildSavers in early December.  Special highlights: a visit with Santa, crafts, face painting, singing, and playing instruments with the Make Music With Me band.  More than 30 Richmond Police Officers, along with our staff and 17 community volunteers joined in the celebration. An extra special treat came from our new friend Cindy, who, along with 4 “elves,” created 500 cones of reindeer food (below).
