Help us double our impact in 2010 Thanks to all of you who have already supported freeDimensional's work with your contributions to our fD 2010 Campaign. In 2009 we helped 15 activists and artists in distress access safe havens around the world, and in 2010, with your help, we'll extend our services to twice as many people!
Druze painter Fahed Halabi made this self portrait while at his safe haven placement in Bilbao. He wrote, "The residency that I get in Bilbao give me the chance to enjoy for three months to make art. It was my first time in my life that I get this chance... to be and to feel free, to make art without all my previous problems, to enjoy my freedom in another place. It was for me special and great experience... fD was the reason for this experience... I never forget this chance."
Your support makes fD's work possible. Please consider making a donation today, no matter how big or how small, to help us reach our year-end fundraising goal of $6000.

fD Distress Services in Action in Cairo Abazar Hamid is a peace singer from Darfur. His recent album was censored and related threats drove him to move his family to Cairo. Cairo is a city with hundreds of thousands of Sudanese living in exile, so it was only natural for Abazar to want to perform. There was one small hitch ... he needed his work permit before he could perform; and he needed the proceeds from performance before he could afford his work permit. Through our Distress Services, fD was able to cover the cost of Abazar's work permit. See him perform:
