Real World Film/TV Training for Actors who want to Book More Work!

Hey Guys!

Just got an casting today from a filmmaker I highly respect for a series of short films about what life in this country will be like in a few decades. It is PAID and will require travel to LA, as the series will be filmed both in SF and LA.

I will only be able to submit PROFESSIONAL materials...which means that if you don't have an industry standard headshot/res, I WILL NOT BE ABLE TO SUBMIT YOU.

If I submit someone with sub-par materials (unless I know you and your work...and even then, I'd probably be on your case about getting good material that represents you!), it reflects on me...and if I send in someone that isn't professional, I'm wasting the producers time and they wouldn't want to work with me or the people I send over.

Scroll down for casting information!

CONGRATS to students (and real-life siblings) MORGAN & DAMIEN who booked supporting roles in the film, THE STEPPES, ASHLEY RUGNAO who booked the Bounty Print ad (which now can be seen in Good Housekeeping Magazine!), and MADELINE O'KENNON booked TWO Films, "Lunch Time," and "Abigail." Oh, and NATALIE CHEYETTE booked the young version of silent film star Louise Brooks in a biopic that will begin filming in January!!!

It is up to you to put in your work in class, so that when you get the chance to audition you'll be ready, but my GOAL is to get you guys working, building your resumes, and on the road to getting agents and actually BOOKING work in this industry!

CHANGE YOUR CAREER IN 180 DAYS...

Are you feeling stuck? Don't know what the next step is to get from where you are to where you want to be?

While the rest of the actors out there sit around and wait for their phone to ring, we proactive alchemists are quietly re-engineering our strategies, and getting better at commercials and film/tv roles. We’re booking work because we’re focusing on the core essentials - being really amazing auditioners (acting at your BEST where it counts the most), and constantly working the business side of show business!

When a top performer is coached, they keep improving. When you have a competent coach with a supportive outside perspective you can make very rapid improvements in how you do almost anything. You'll learn from my successes  and failures of countless auditions what works and what doesn't....it can save you years of trial and error.

* Weekly Intensive Audition Technique and Scene Study Class with Giovannie Espiritu
Lets cut to the chase. We need to know how to audition well in order to get the job. Learn how to de-code the audition sides, how to make a commericial audition pop, and tips and tricks to win over the room during the audition.

* Monthly 30 minute personal telephone appointments with Giovannie Espiritu - you have the opportunity to get "up close and personal" about the challenges you face and you will get the kind of help that only Giovannie can give you. Then we'll follow up by email.

Email me for application and cost. New session beginning soon.

Intensive coaching students have made RAPID improvements in their careers within 6 months...booking first agents, several films, meeting casting directors - if they can do it, so can you!

CASTING

It's a series of films about what life in this country will be like in a couple decades.  It's funded by ITVS, who've collected a bunch of prominent indie filmmakers for their second season.

We are casting (only giving you the basics, we're pretty open to different looks at this point):

KAYA - Black male about age 40-45.
HELEN - Latina female about age 35-40.
NAOMI - The child of Kaya/Helen, mixed ethnicity female.  Age 5-9.
JONATHAN - Asian male 28-35.

Please email me your headshots/res in a NEW email (meaning don't include this newsletter in the email) with the character name in the subject line.

I also am looking for a little girl for a different project (student film) in the city.

Here's the description:

A young girl, between ages 7 -9, caucasian. I just need her to be in a photograph with my main actor who will pose as her father. She will be hugging him at the waist, kneeling on a stool while looking up at him. He on the other hand will be tipping his chin up towards him. It will be made to look like an old photograph. It's just a few minutes worth of her time. My husband, who is a photographer, will be taking the shot in our home studio. Her parents and even yourself are of course welcome to be present while these shots are taken. It's a student film so I can't pay. But for sure there will be credit and copy.

Please submit (non professional shots okay for this one) snapshots/headshots with "JACINTHA" in the subject line.
