This weekend was a very blessed weekend in our Province.
Offer a Triduum of Masses to remember your dad on Father’s Day this June.
The friars will include your father’s name in daily prayer throughout the month of June and offer three consecutive Masses in his honor.

Profession of Vowels
On Saturday, May 31, Brother Jeffrey Wilson, TOR, took his first vows for our community. He was accompanied by Br. David Sheehan, TOR, who took vows for the Sacred Heart Province. In attendance were Br. Jeffrey's Father, Ken, and friars and friends from our community.
The celebration was beautiful and Jeff and David are wonderful additions to both communities. May God bring to completion the great work he has begun in them!

Investiture Ceremony
On Friday, we held our Investiture Ceremony joyously receiving two new Novitiates into our community.
For those not familiar with the Novitiate, it is the first official year of membership in the community. It is an intense period of prayer, discernment, spiritual direction and learning about the Franciscan heritage as well as vowed life.

Community Gardens
In addition to these blessed ceremonies surrounding our Province, Father Christopher TOR blessed the community gardens at St. Bernardine Monastery.
A group of local volunteers have gathered and volunteered time in our new Care for Creation initiative at the Monastery. The volunteers plowed the land and planted the crops. We invite you to get involved and to attend the bi-weekly seminars on Caring for Creation presented by Father Pat TOR at St. Bernardine's. For more information please email us.
