Happy New Year!
In Carneys Point Deputy Mayor Arnie DiTeodoro (left) and Bud Harris (on right in photo) ran an honest campaign and worked very, very hard as did many Club Members. Unfortunately everyone’s hard work wasn’t enough with the ground swell received locally by Obama/Biden. Bud and Arnie are most appreciative of all the efforts of the Club Members.
Dale Cross was successful and joins Julie Acton on the County Freeholder Board. Is that a halo in Julie's photo? Inquiring minds want to know! As the Salem County Freeholders and the Carneys Point Township Committee have at least one spot being elected every year, we need to dust ourselves off and get back at it. Please join us at our first CPGOP.ORG meeting of 2009, Tuesday January 6, 2009, Servicemen’s Home, 7PM.
Visitors are most welcome. We will have light refreshments.
Nominations and election of CPGOP club officers. At the January 6th meeting we will be electing officers for 2009.
Please consider serving as an officer this coming year. Rotation of service positions insures all members have the opportunity to share their skills, ideas and abilities with the Club, and that no one member is over burdened with having to serve year in – year out.
This year we also will need to field a candidate to run against Tony Rullo at the Committee level. When we beat him, control will return to the CPGOP.
************************** County News *********** Remember on Wednesday January 7th Dale Cross will be sworn in at the Salem County Annual Reorganization Meeting. Check out out the calendar... speaking of which, send us any items you would like added.

The three GOP freeholder candidates also ran a great campaign. Dale (center) squeaked by Ben (left) but congrats to all 3!
