 RIDER ADVICE #1

DON'T FORGET THESE...

1. A Bike (D'uh)

2. A standards approved helmet (no good lid, no racey racey)

3. 15L of water (each)

4. A comfy folding chair... there's nothing finer than a comfy camp chair at 2:15am.

5. A towel, because hot showers make you wet :0)

 RIDER ADVICE #2

EARLY BIRD GETS WORM Get the stressful stuff out of the way early by coming down Friday. You can grab a good campsite, register from 2pm, go for a light pedal then kick back and enjoy the Roller Racing

 RIDER ADVICE #3

DRIVE HOME FRESH Driver fatigue is a significant issue following an endurance race. We learned of a nasty crash after the Mont last year, and do not want to see any repeats. If you are traveling from interstate for the Mont please consider staying the Sunday night and heading off early Monday morning. Stop. Revive. Survive.

 RIDER ADVICE #4

WORK OUT THOSE KINKS Stretching and massage can help keep you going through the long hours. Go HERE for more info.

 LIKE FREE PANCAKES?

 dutchpancakes_180px.jpg

Would you like to eat Free Delicious Dutch Pancakes for whole Mont weekend? Win, and you and your team will get free pancakes all weekend. (Note: You should probably still ride!)

In 100 words or less, convince us why you are the most worthy for sponsorship. Be entertaining. Send your entry HERE! Winners announced before the event.

 STAY IN THE LOOP

If you have missed any of our Newsletters, you can view them HERE.

Welcome to Newsletter #7. We are getting tantalisingly close to race day. Take a few minutes to read it through and then send it on to your teammates. We look forward to seeing you at the Mont soon. Keep the rubber side down! Did anyone say FREE PANCAKES?

WELDTITE LUBRICATIONweldtite.jpg

24HR racing is not only gruelling on your body but also takes its toll on your machine. Use of the correct lubricants is essential to ensure that your steed keeps running smoothly and reliably through the race. Complimentary Weldtite Lube will be available for use at the Weldtite Lube Bay. Go HERE for more information on Weldtite Lubricants.

WINNERS BARS IN YOUR RACE BAGWinners_Crop_180px.jpg

I received some Winners Bars in the post last week, and as it happens they arrived just before a lunchtime ride. Nice flavour - not too rich and pretty easy to eat. I was an instant fan and so too were the guys in the office. Look for your Winners Bar in your team race bag (there's one for every rider) - but be quick - or your teammates will most likely snaffle them.

RAWHIDE ROLLER RACING!

Rawhide Roller Racing will be held on Friday night before the Mont. Bikes are provided - 4 x groovy-as singlespeed bikes - identically geared - with good old fashioned toe straps. Set your seat height and race! A great reason to arrive early, set up and have some fun. Saddle Up! Go HERE for more information and to see roller racing videos.

MAKE THE PERFECT CAMP

Awesome Sock Guy has camped out under the stars at many race venues around the world and has honed his special skills at making each camp better than the last. You can benefit from his years of experience and get it right first time round. Go HERE.

AMB MAG IN YOUR RACE BAG

Our media buddies at AMB are sending copies of their latest issue to include in team race bags. Now you'll have something to do when you're not cranking out laps... aside from talking up your performances. Enjoy, and thanks AMB.
