Clean Your Restaurant With Water! – The GRA is proud to announce our official endorsement of a truly revolutionary product, Activeion Pro,
which converts tap water into a general and all-purpose cleaner and
sanitizer. Activeion Pro is a great alternative to chemical-based
cleaning products, which can potentially be harmful to the environment and employees.
Activeion
Pro works by sending a charge of positive and negative nano-ions
through the water in its canister, which when sprayed on a surface,
attracts dirt particles and works to sanitize hard surfaces like glass,
stainless steel, and plastic. Note: Activeion Pro is recommended as a
general sanitizer, not a food-prep sanitizer.

Green Marketing 101
How to make the most of the GRA's Certification
|
|
The Green Restaurant Association works with every type of foodservice operation: restaurants, fine dining establishments, café’s, coffee shops, cafeterias, caterers, etc. Every restaurant has a different look, style, theme, and image.
Here are some ways our restaurants have made the Certification seal match their style:
• Mario Batali’s establishments turned the logo into a bronze plaque that hangs by each hostess stand
• Microsoft café’s made wall plaques that hang at each entryway.
• Tayst Restaurant and Wine Bar proudly displays the seal on their chef coats, allowing them to call attention to their Certification in a subtle way when they were featured last spring on Martha Stewart’s wedding show!
• Gettysburg Eddies incorporated the seal into their restaurant sign so even the customers driving by can see it!
Once Certified, your restaurant will have access to the GRA's Communications Manager, who will help your find creative, subtle, and eye-catching ways to better market your Certification status, draft press releases, create signage, and more.

Greenhouse gases are gases in an atmosphere that absorb and emit radiation within the thermal infrared range. Greenhouse gases greatly affect the temperature of the Earth; without them, Earth's surface would be on average about 33°C (59°F) colder than at present. Human activities since the start of the industrial revolution have increased the levels of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere.
