| Hello {FIRST_NAME}! | June 30, 2009 |
| We hope you are all enjoying your summer! Your Coalition spent the past few months restructuring how sectors meet. Your individual sector meetings have transitioned into campaign workshops where all sectors are invited to the table. We feel encouraged because this will generate even more creative ideas, provide more resources, and keep the momentum going by preventing sectors from being isolated.
So, please take a look at the following Campaign Calendar. Plan ahead and mark your calendars. You can click on events that are links for more details. And remember, because these efforts are only possible with your participation, we welcome your suggestions on meeting locations or convenient times for all. July 2009 Calendar
*Monthly Campaign Calendars are now posted on our website @ www.drugfreenevadacounty.org
Visit NEO at Downtown Grass Valley's Thursday Night Market... If you are a youth and would like to have a spot to perform at one of the markets or if you are an adult who would like to help chaperone one of the markets and receive a free NEO shirt please contact Halli, NEO Youth Coordinator at: hallially_24@hotmail.com. *Chaperone's needed for: July 9th & 23rd and August 6th, 20th & 27th. Recent Summer Campaign Workshop had a Diverse Turnout...Thanks to participation of Juvenile Drug Court kids, NEO, and the Youth Tobacco Coalition, the youth participation outweighed adult attendance. The Coalition was also thankful for the opportunity to collaborate at the workshop with Board of Supervisor, Nate Beason, Greg Marks of Assembleyman Dan Logue's office and Kimberly Pruett of Congressman Tom McClintock's office. Captain Rex Marks announced the arrival of the new Rx Collection Bin, and Jim Phelps opened a discussion around developing a planning grant for a new model of small youth-centers in each unique area of the county. A Very Special Thanks To:
