Soccer and Track Start This Week!

Just a reminder that:
Track starts this Monday, March 23 at Middleton High School (6:00-7:15) and
Soccer starts this Wednesday, March 25 at Cherokee Middle School (6:00-7:15).

Please be aware of important competition dates:
State Competition Qualifiers
Soccer District Tournament: Saturday May 2 in Marshfield
Athletics District Meet: Sunday May 3 in Oregon
State Tournament for both Athletics & Soccer:
Thursday June 4-6 in Stevens Point.
Soccer is a team sport and players MUST commit to participate in tournaments in order to be on the team. There is a state rule limiting a maximum of 10 players per team, and we need to give priority to those players that can attend the tournaments. There is a subsequent state rule that says any team member that does not play in the district game (May 2) will not be eligible if the team makes it to the state tournament.
Remember, athletes have the option to just come to practices and train for either soccer or athletics without participating in any competition. We need to know ahead of time so that we can properly plan for the soccer team games and track relay teams.
