This year, 2015, is the 50th anniversary of the signing of the National Foundation on the Arts and the Humanities Act of 1965, which created the National Endowment for the Arts and the National Endowment for the Humanities. To better recount the story of the NEA and the arts in America, we want to share your story of how the arts have influenced your life. Tell us how the arts are part of your day, how the arts have inspired you to do something unique, how they have made a difference among you and your family, as well as in the communities and neighborhoods in which you live. If there is a specific NEA grant that has had an impact on you and your community, let us know.
