NEA Underwrites Registration Fees for 2010 Dance/USA Annual Conference

Dance/USA has just received special support from the National Endowment for the Arts to encourage participation at our 2010 Annual Conference in Washington, DC, June 16-19. We will be able to offer a limited number of stipends (approximately 40) for Conference registration to assist Dance/USA members who would like to attend. Some policies concerning the stipend:

  • The stipend covers Conference registration fees only. It does not include travel or hotel costs.
  • Each stipend may be used to cover Conference registration for one person from a Dance/USA member organization or individual Dance/USA member.
  • Stipends will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
Check your email for more information on Thursday, March 11. The online request form for the Conference stipend will be made available on Tuesday, March 16, 2010, at 12:00pm EST. Confirmation of stipend support will be made as soon as possible and within enough time to register before the March 22 early bird deadline, should you not receive a stipend.
