Nathifa Dance Company is seeking new faces during the months of August and September. We are a family of young artists that teaches other young artists to value and respect the culture of African dance, african drumming, hip hop and praise dance as the spirit of the drums leads us by telling many stories of our ancestors. We aim to build self pride, self confidence, self awareness and self respect by stage performances and audience participation. We only serve the greater Birmingham and the surrounding area. more...	New York born Darlene Colon will be joining the staff and creating a jazz program for Ballet Huntsville / Academy of Classic Arts in their fall season starting August 16th through May 28th 2011.
