PAI is holding an End of Summer Dance Today, August 3rd! Patrick "PK" Smith will lead a liturgical dance class from 6:00PM - 7:15PM. Classes are offered to dancers ages 12 years and up; Intermediate to Advance Level Dancers only. |
Did you know that Dance Theatre of Harlem will be in Birmingham August 5th-8th? Yes! They’ll be at Faith Chapel Christian Center as part of our Harmony Conference. Ms. Theara J. Ward will be joining us in teaching dance classes. |
The Alabama Dance Theatre annual Summer Dance Seminar culminates with two free performances of “Stars on the Riverfront” featuring a unique array of classical and contemporary works. Performances are Friday, August 6th and Saturday, August 7th at 7:30 p.m. at the Riverwalk Amphitheater and are free to the public. |

On August 7th & August 14th Sistah LaVondia will end our summer workshops "Ujima". These workshops has helped dancers and drummers connect to the inner persons on a deeper level as we continue to pull positive energy from each other during these difficult times. |
Birmingham Ballroom Dance Chapter 6037 of USA Dance presents its August Ballroom Dance on August 7th. Jackie Tally will teach Anna's Eyes, a Beginner Nightclub line dance at 6:30. Chris and Emily Bailey will teach Night Club Two Step at 7:00. There will be open dancing from 7:30 to 10:00. We will be dancing to the music of DJ Fred Gipson. more... |
