We're heading to the Dance/USA Conference in Washington, DC!
From Wednesday, June 16th to Saturday, June 19th we will be meeting with arts leaders and colleagues in the dance field examining and eliminating the borders -- real or imagined -- that define us. We will be joined at the conference by staff from the Alabama Ballet. We will also meet again with Congressional members on Capitol Hill! Want to follow the action? of dance. From traditional courses in ballet and modern
dance to new
class offerings in hip-hop and tap. Participants have the

either a three-week or six-week session and can build their

The Alliance of Artists Communities has received a Mellon
grant to examine the state of Dance Residency Opportunities in the USA.
Facilities and Opportunities for visual artists and writers far
outnumber those for dance.

Center for Arts Management and Technology
(CAMT), an applied research
center at Carnegie Mellon University, is
considering offering a new service
to help arts organizations with technology
challenges. If you work at at
arts organization in any capacity, we invite you
to take part in our survey
to share how you use technology in your
organizations and how you find help
when you need it.
The
survey takes 5-10 minutes to complete and is
available here.
