The Teaching Artist Journal is seeking field reporters to expand the reach of voices that come to you through our print and online Newsbreak section Complete this form and let us know more about your work. Teaching Artist Journal will contact you within one week with an invitation or with a request for further information. Writing samples will be reviewed for clarity and for relevant/unique perspectives. The first deadline for information is July 20th, 2010. |

The one-day intensive fine arts workshop, "Praise Him With Your Whole Heart" will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2010, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm at Children's Dance Foundation. Classes are offered for ages 8 and up |
Come see the culminating concert from the UA/ABT three week summer ballet intensive on Saturday, July 24, 2010. Students ages 12-18 perform new works by ABT guest artist faculty as well as classic variations from the works of Petipa. |

Huntsville Ballet School welcomes Christoper Fleming, former dancer with New York City Ballet, American Ballet Theater from July 26th-August 6th. |
Students ages 7-12 enjoy a full day of dance, beginning with ballet, modern, jazz, dances of other cultures and more from August 2nd-August 6th. The final day they will present an in-studio performance to friends and family. |
The Alabama Youth Ballet will hold company auditions for the upcoming year for current and new members. Ages 12 - 19 may audition for the Senior Company to be placed in this exciting family-oriented group of dancers. |
