RHYTHM WORLD is
the oldest and most comprehensive festival of American tap and contemporary
percussive arts in the world. RHYTHM WORLD features an extraordinary master
faculty of 24 teachers and two weeks of performance, education and community
outreach programs including free public performances at the Jay Pritzker
Pavilion in Millennium Park, tap jams at the Chicago Cultural Center's
Claudia Cassidy Theater, student showcases, panel discussions and extraordinary
faculty concerts at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago.

The Birmingham Swing Dancers are hosting Waltz Magic on Friday, May 21 at Bailey Studio, 1853 Montgomery Hwy, Suite 103, Hoover 35244 from 7:30 - 10:30 pm. Music by C&E DJ's. Focus is primarily on waltz but other dance music will also be played. Beginner waltz dance lesson from 7:30 to 8:00 pm.
