  • In today's economic times, more children are at risk of going hungry once school is over. Find out how your program can become a Summer Food site. Make sure the youth in your community have somewhere to go to be fed for free this summer. 
  • The winners of the MO Project's media contest received their awards from Assemblyman Tom Torlakson at the Childhood Obesity Conference on June 12. See photos from the conference here. 
  • Check out CANFIT's most recent policy briefs: "Promoting Healthier After School Environments"-our featured download; 'Expanding Opportunities for After School Physical Activity" and "After School Physical Activity Brief."
  • CANFIT held MO Project Regional Youth Convenings in Merced, Chula Vista and Kettleman City in March 2009. Check out this video on a MO Project convening. Next month we will be sending out an RFP for youth and community organizations interested in hosting a youth convening in their community. Check back with us in July.
