Can You Hear Me Now?

ImageSince they first appeared in 2002, Verizon commercials with the "Test Man" wandering around checking on reception have become representative of the company. His question, "Can you hear me now?" has become such an icon, that even as the company branches off into other advertising concepts-like the "Network" represented by a seemingly unending crowd of Verizon engineers-the Test Man still stands in front (and occasionally utters his signature line).

"Can you hear me now?" still resonates with cell phone users who experience dropped calls even today with all the coverage that exists in our country. Back in 2004, USA Today already designated the advertising concept...
