In This Issue

Dear Franzi, October 2009

Happy Fall!

I am delighted to start this second monthly newsletter with a FREE give away.

Dr. Roger Callahan, founder of Thought Field Therapy, just published another heart warming "Thought Field" with astonishing stories of courage and healing.  I am excited that I can pass on his newsletter to my readers for FREE (that is a $30 value) over the months to come.

You can read and download it here.

Let Go and Let Grace:
How to Access Your Heart Drive in 5 Easy Steps

Did you know that
  • More than 65% of your heart is made of neural tissue – the same stuff your brain is made of?
  • The electromagnetic field of the heart is 5000 times stronger than the field of the brain?
  • There are direct neural pathways between the brain and the heart and that these two organs are in constant dialogue with each other?
Indeed, your heart is a primary point of intelligence that moves for your well-being, the Institute for HeartMath writes.

Yet, the heart itself does not think; thinking is the domain of the brain. The heart simply knows. Through my work with Matrix Energetics, I have learned that I can access this state of knowing by distracting my busy left brain long enough so that I can drop into my heart space, from where I can access certitude and possibility. When you are in your heart space, you hear the voice you can trust. While your focus is in that heart space you create enough wiggle room for grace to walk in and for miracles to happen.

How can you access this space of grace – the domain of miracles? The good news is that you do not necessarily have to meditate for 25 years before you can master it. Dr. Richard Bartlett, founder of Matrix Energetics, shared a simple five step method at one of his seminars that allows you to get there much more quickly. The following fun exercise will only take you a minute - so why not play along.

Step 1: Set Intention:  Notice where your attention is going, notice what you would like to change. That becomes your intention. Make this intention soft and flexible. Allow for some wiggle room in what you would like to accomplish. “This or anything better” is usually a good phrase to add to any intention we set for ourselves.

Step 2:  Declutter:  The only feeling states that truly belong in your heart space are joy, love, peace and gratitude. Anything else needs to be put into its proper place. For example, feelings like anger, guilt and shame are heavy emotions that need to go down. Simply let them drop and allow them to fall down as far as they want to go. Conversely, let the light stuff drift up – as far up as they want to go. As your heart space is decluttering itself from the turbulence of our busy feelings and emotions you can begin to experience that state of peace.

Step 3:  Expand: Now your heart space is ready for expansion. With your next breath out imagine blowing into your heart. Feel the space expand. Do this as many times as you think is necessary. Just like your computer’s hard drive can be upgraded, so your “heart drive” can be expanded with a few well intentioned breaths of air as well.

Step 4: Drop Down:  Now imagine that your eyeballs are marbles. Roll them into the back of your head and let them softly drop into your heart. You now have 360 degree vision. You are in a state of knowing, you are empty and receptive.

Step 5: Let Go: This is the most important step of all. Let an imaginary pebble go and drop into a quiet pond. Watch the ripples expand. Let go. Let love. Let grace.

Be open to what shows up. Honour what presents itself to you even if it seems bizarre, funny or outrageous. In fact, if it is bizarre, funny or outrageous it is probably good stuff, stuff you can trust because it does not come from the analytical left brain. Go with it. When solutions present themselves from this place all outcomes are sacred, because you shifted from the brain’s demands for control, to the power of grace.

Take the miracles as they show up. Protect them with your heart and do not allow your brain to rationalize them away.

Practice, practice, practice. If you like living your life from a place of gratitude, love and grace, dropping into and staying in heart space can become a daily, hourly and minute-by-minute practice for you, until you no longer need it - until you realize you are always already there.

Play with this and let me know how you are doing.

The Reluctant Sleeper:
A Stuccess Story by Gloria Benazic, TFT-Alg

“Two weeks after attending Fränzi’s two day TFT seminar, I flew to Kelowna to spend a couple of days with my son’s family.  My 21-month-old granddaughter, Martina, has issues with going to bed. When mom puts her in the crib, she usually has about a 5 minute cry before she drops off to sleep.

When I visit, I usually take on the story reading prior to bed. After a couple stories, I put Martina in her crib and asked her if she would like to tap with Nanny. She agreed and laid down. I asked her to tap for anxiety: She tapped in the ‘general’ area. I helped by tapping the side of hand, followed by the spot under the eye, then the monkey tap (under arm) and the Tarzan spot (by the collarbone).  After tapping three or four times, I said I would sing (also a previous routine) but she had to keep her eyes closed or I would have to quit singing. She opened her eyes a couple of times, I quite singing, but once she closed her eyes again, the singing resumed. I completed a couple of rounds then cleaned up the story books and quietly left the room without saying another word. Martina never made a sound although she was not asleep; it did not seem to bother her that she was in bed alone. I did this again the following night with the same result.

I left our son a written outline of the tapping sequence and he has been using it with great success. The up side of this is that Martina LOVES to tap!  When I was with her on Skype the other day, I realized that she was watching me on the computer screen and was gently tapping on her cheek. I started tapping too and Martina burst into the biggest smile ever. She even said to her Papa, “Monkey, Papa, monkey!” resulting in them both tapping under the arm.

I will be spending a week babysitting Martina in October and I am looking forward to looking at some other situations we might try TFT on with her.”

Send in your TFT and Reiki success stories, no matter how big or small, to share with and inspire your colleagues.

Matrix Energetics Contemplation

"When you try to do something and focus your intent, what you are doing is focusing your conscious mind. This does not give you access to the unconscious or collective unconscious. The less you think, the more powerful the outcome."
