Happy B.C. Day! ► My NEW Million $ Website: I received emails and phone calls from as far away as the USA, Switzerland and the Middle East with clients raving about my new website: Mental Health Pros.
Also many of my walk-in clients now take advantage of the wealth of objective information available at this brilliant internet portal. They select a topic relevant to them (e.g. stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, relationships, eating…) and can then choose from over 140 articles, dozens of videos and complete some of the 27 self-tests so they can start tracking their own progress right away. Many also attended July's free monthly "Tele Lunch & Learn" workshop (this months' topic was: "A Labour of Love: Making Your Marriage Work").

► Finally, the Research Library is Up: The much anticipated TFT Resource Library is finally available to the public. I am indebted to Dr. Jenny Edwards (many of you know the story of how Jenny treated patients with TFT after the Nairobi Embassy bombing in 1998), who single-handedly completed this vast project. ► FREE TFT Newsletter: Dr. Callahan's latest quarterly newsletter is available as a free download to all my readers. You can get it here: http://www.rogercallahan.com/pdf/TFT-Newsletter-07-10.pdf. I particularly enjoyed the article on how too many healing tools can actualy weaken one's autonomic nervous system.
My highlight of the month:
For millennia, the healing arts have helped and transformed countless people’s lives. Hundreds of research studies have shown that the average person who completes treatment (psychotherapy) is better off than 80% of the people who do not (1). However, these results do not count the number of people who quit prematurely. A staggering 47% of people only attend one session and drop out early!
I am now using the same process of getting objective, frequent feedback. If you have ever done Thought Field Therapy (TFT) with me, you may wonder how this is supposed to be revolutionary. Yes, within a TFT treatment I constantly ask clients for feedback so we can track by how much the intensity of an upsetting issue is diminishing. I will continue to do that. However, Feedback Improved Therapy is different in that it looks at the big picture, your overall improvement and satisfaction, and it captures that information in a formal way. In addition, at the end of a session, I now also ask my clients to invest just one minute of their time to answer four additional simple questions. This way I measure his/her sense of teamwork between us. In other words, I want to know my client’s perception of how well the session went:
This candid feedback then allows me to have an open conversation with the client so I can fine-tune sessions or even make a referral should that be necessary.
When I told her that I ask my clients to assess their own progress and to tell me how they like or dislike a session, her eyes lit up, her body shot forward and she exclaimed: “What, you actually ask me? That is a first. Finally. I like that.” Sincerely caring about and honoring her experience was very important to her. She became a partner in this process, not just someone who needed “fixing.” She was instantly engaged and we were able to make amazing progress already in that first session.
Bouncy & Pain-Free 1 Day Postop “My dog had a big surgery yesterday. He got a ball-sized lump removed from his side and tummy. I did the pain and the traumatic stress Algorithms for him prior to his surgery. I continued tapping with him yesterday evening and guess what? This morning I had a walk with him, he is lively, wags his tail, lies down, drank and ate and he did not seem to need any pain medication. He is relaxed and pain-free.
I felt so good because the Veterinary told me that he will be very sick for a couple of days. He even gave me pain medication which I haven't used, yet. The Vet called me this morning to see how my dog was doing and I told him that I had a short walk with him and that he was doing well. The Vet couldn't believe it. I told him that I used TFT. Our Vet had never heard about it and was quite interested. Surely the tapping helped my dog and I feel so good. Thanks!"
Be well. Blessings!

Where You Can Meet me this Month:
Matrix Energetics Contemplation "Weird stuff breaks the rules. The rules are just sitting around waiting to be broken because they’re not real. They are simply a laboratory frame of reference. They’re only one possible reference out of many outcomes, and quantum physics says the act of choosing how you observe creates the reality you’re observing.” Dr. Richard Bartlett Founder of Matrix Energetics
