► Life Time Achievement Award: Thirty years after his first discovery, Dr. Roger Callahan, founder and developer of Thought Field Therapy, received the Life Time Achievement Award from the Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology (ACEP). He was recognized for originating, devising and popularizing a coherent meridian-based tapping system that is changing the world of psychotherapy and the world of so many who (used to) suffer. ► Season Finale: The Season Finale of Quantum Popcorn was a wonderful evening with Nick Nolte (Peaceful Warrior), an interesting panel, and most importantly all our new Quantum Popcorn friends. Thank you for coming out to support “Quantum Popcorn-Movies that Inspire” over the past 6 months. The second season will begin on the last Friday of October. Injured Athlete Reaches Personal Best
A Success Story by Will Polak, TFT-Alg

“Stan is a very good track athlete in the high school competitions.  About three weeks ago he was running the 100 yard dash.  As he crossed the finish line, one of the race officials yelled for all of the runners to stop immediately (so that she would not have to figure out which runner was in which lane).  As an aside: they do have photo finishes, so there was no need to stop the runners so fast.  So Stan came to a screeching halt and injured his hip very badly.  He could barely walk and barely stand.  He backed out of all the other final races and was disqualified.  He still had a javelin throw to do so when it came time to throw the javelin, he just stood and threw (no run before the throw).  He threw 44 metres and came in second place.  That was good enough to get him into the high school provincial finals for the javelin.  Now we have a painful injury and someone who refuses to even consider dropping out of the provincial finals.

Stan’s mom, a good friend of mine, called and asked what we could do for the pain and performance. Over the phone, I gave her the TFT pain and peak performance algorithms which Stan agreed to use.  She took Stan to the high school track and they did some javelin training throws to see how he was doing with the injury.  Later that night I got a call and was told a few things that were very interesting: The pain had almost completely gone, but not quite.  Stan's throwing form actually improved as he did his javelin throws.  The most interesting detail was this:  After Stan did the pain algorithm, he said his hip area felt "cool".  What would we use to ease an inflamed muscle?  A cold pack!!!  I thought that was exceptionally interesting.

Now to the provincial finals: Stan did not have any pain leading up to the track meet. As for the performance... Stan came in 4th with a throw of 47 metres!!!  Stan missed third place by 10 cm.  Turns out this is a personal best for Stan.  Never thrown that far before.  So the performance algorithm worked, too."
