How fearless were you last month? I realized two dreams of mine:
If you have not signed up for Club Fearless yet, know that Steve Chandler's offer of a FREE month's membership is still on the table. Just email Maurice and tell him you want to give this a try.
To give you a taste of what it's like to be in Club Fearless, Steve offers my readers a FREE download of his audio program "Purpose vs. Personality." It's one of my favorites. Enjoy. - My Intro to TFT Seminar at UNBC was again a huge success. Thanks to the over 100 of you who came out. Many asked when I will do this again. Well, the theatre is already booked for March 19 & 20. Today the first group of 3 registered. : ) - Many thanks to all of you who voted for "Tap into New Beginings," the initiative that wants to bring TFT to one of Canada's poorest neighbourhoods. We got over 529 votes. That is definitely a mandate - but unfortunately not enough for us to make it to the semi-finals. But not to worry, we will find another creative way of bringing the healing of Thought Field Therapy into that neighbourhood. - Make sure you read Jen Reade's amazing story at the bottom of this newsletter. Jen combined Reiki and Thought Field Therapy to help her sister sail through a rather challenging birth.
I love writing these newsletters.
From Survive to Thrive
A Miraculous Birth - with a Little Help from Reiki & TFT “When my sister first told me that she was pregnant, I half-jokingly offered to provide distance Reiki to help her through labour. I did not expect to perform Reiki for the 7.5 hours she was in labour or be present in the delivery room. My sister’s pregnancy was relatively easy, but, like most women, she was beginning to feel the effects of the pregnancy: overheating, sore hips, swelling and fatigue from lack of sleep. In short, she was looking forward to giving birth. Unfortunately, the baby was slow in coming; the due date came and passed and the doctor made a plan for her to be induced a week after the expected due date. To provide moral and household support, I planned to stay with her and her husband for two days prior to induction and a week afterwards. On the day of her induction, my sister (K) and my brother-in-law (Q) were excited as they headed to the hospital for the 7:00 am appointment. Unable to take the time off of work, I planned to work from their home and rush to the hospital when called with the birth announcement. After receiving the first treatment, my sister and brother-in-law returned home, arriving at 11 am. K and Q were told labour pains could start at any time but to expect cramping first. By 11:30 am my sister was quite uncomfortable from cramping and had requested Tylenol, a hot water bottle, and a back massage. I offered Reiki or TFT to help reduce her discomfort, but I was turned down in favour of a hot shower. As I walked over to help K off the couch, I started to feel Reiki flowing out of my hands that I was unable stop. Apparently K felt it as well because she pulled me down onto the couch beside her, holding my hands to her back with a vice-like grip. We remained in this rather uncomfortable (for me) position for the next 3 hours. By the middle of the afternoon, K’s discomfort had grown enough that she thought she should return to the hospital. I soon found myself bustled out to the car with my hands still held in a death grip against her back and my mom laughing at our slow, barely coordinated shuffle. After being admitted to the hospital for the second time that day, we were told by the nurse that K was not yet in labour and that her discomfort was continued cramping so she could not be given anything for the pain. On hearing this, K looked at me, grabbed my hands and we started again. We found that we could reduce her discomfort if I performed Reiki with my hands on her back then, during intense pains, switched to the TFT pain algorithm with me acting as a surrogate by maintaining contact through our feet. We sustained this pattern for just over two hours until I needed to leave the hospital (I had to pick up our mom and bring her to the hospital). Upon our return, K was checked by the nurse and was still only dilated to 1 cm. She was told the Dr. would see her in about an hour to induce her again and that she would have to return home for the night. Upon receiving the news that she would be spending the night with these “cramps”, K burst into tears and I started treating her with TFT algorithms. At this point I was not clear headed enough to use diagnostics, so I reverted back to algorithms—anxiety, worry, stress, pain, lack of energy and visualization. I wasn’t even asking for SUDs (Subjective Units of Distress), I was just tapping. I ended by clearing all of her reversals, treating for toxins (induction cream and hospital gown material) and then collarbone breathing. Right before the doctor was scheduled to arrive, I left to pick up some protein shakes for K to have for dinner because she would be coming home after her checkup and re-induction. Thirty minutes later I received an excited call from Q: “You know I don’t believe in all that arm waiving stuff you do, but something must have worked - she is now 9 cm.” K had gone from 1 cm dilation to 9 cm after receiving my impromptu TFT session. Unfortunately, this rapid change meant that she actually had been in labour all afternoon without an anesthetic and she was now too close to the birth to receive one. I returned to the hospital where I continued to administer a combination of Reiki and TFT for the next two hours of labour.
My nephew, Andrew, was born that night and received his first Reiki treatment at 30 minutes old."
Be well. Belssed Holidays!

Matrix Energetics Contemplation "The principles of Matrix Energetics are entirely congruent with universal truths and ideas espoused by many so-called enlightened beings.
