    Product Updates Coming Soon...

ImageThe next KEYLOK release will be available by the end of July. This release includes:

  • Windows 7 Support – the install program is approved for Windows 7 for all KEYLOK products

  • Enhanced Remote Email Update – new functions enabling more efficient processing of remote update tasks and a new API function to process the update on the end-user machine. You are no longer dependent upon the KEYLOK end-user utility, you can write your own or embed it in your own application.

  • Networking enhancements and bug fixes – single session IP counting is now available.

  • General Linux/Mac support for Fortress

By the 4th quarter we expect to have the following products available:

Flash Memory Device – We will be releasing a new 1G flash memory security device based on the Fortress platform. This allows you to load and ship your application on the device, eliminating the need to ship a CD. You can partition and protect the memory, securing your application in one partition and providing mass storage to your end-users on the other partition if you wish.

Store Executable Code on Dongle – with this program code protection feature, you can migrate approximately 10,000 lines of high level language program code to the KEYLOK Fortress X Smart Card dongle and execute the code there. This code will not leave any trace on the computer. It is executed only on the dongle. Configuring your application to run separately on the computer and the dongle results in a very secure solution. Your software cannot be copied and run on another machine because a key piece of code only exists on the dongle. This feature combined with KEYLOK’s ease of use provides you with tremendous value and security.

  • On the Drawing Board...

At KEYLOK, we are committed to listening to our customers and making new technology and functionality available to them. Some items on our drawing board include:

USB Wrapper – enables software developers to protect the application without making code changes. The executable file would be wrapped by the USB security device and licensing options would be available within the wrapper. No development effort would be required.

Software Solution – the ability to protect your application without a physical USB key. This would also include the ability to use software and hardware keys interchangeably.

Multiple dongles on one machine – the ability to have more than one KEYLOK device on a machine and be able to communicate with a specific device.

Back-office Integration – the ability to track licensing and programming information on the dongles and integrate this data with your back office accounting or CRM application.

Multimedia Protection – the ability to protect and control the distribution and use of multimedia and other content files.

Web Authentication – the ability to program and update devices over the internet.
