Art for Progress September Newsletter

As fall arrives in the great city of New York, AFP is beginning a new school year with excitement and anticipation of what's to come. With each new school year, we have an incredible opportunity to work with hundreds of new students. The possibilities are truly endless. Is the next John Lennon or Jackson Pollock one of our 9th grade students at Humanities Prep?

Maybe the next great performer is more advanced in his or her artistic achievements. We certainly have a stellar line-up of artists at AFP's next "Mixed Greens" event coming up on Saturday, September 22nd.

We also have a big announcement regarding artist memberships. As of January 1st, 2013, artist memberships will be free! Artists will still have to apply and be approved, but there will no longer be any membership fees. As we get closer to January 1st, we'll provide more details.

In the meantime, please take some time to check out the featured artists and all the great stuff in our current newsletter.

You can also keep up with AFP through our social media outlets Facebook and Twitter.
