| DEDICATIONS SCHEDULED
HFHMC proudly announces that we will be holding some dedications at the end of May! On Friday, May 22 at 3 pm, we will dedicate the homes of the Richardson, Finley and Todd families in the Cedar Point community. On Sunday, May 31 at noon, we will be dedicating the home of the Deng / Guet family on Cherokee Street. Everyone is invited to attend these dedications! Call our office for more information and directions to the sites!
ReStore New Hours
Beginning May 25, our ReStore will have new hours! Come and see us on Tuesday - Friday from 9 - 5:30 or on Saturdays from 9 - 3. The ReStore will be closed on Sundays and Mondays. The ReStore has a lot of great items, so if you are looking for materials for your summer remodeling projects, come in and shop! If you have something to donate from your home improvement efforts or if you are refurnishing your home, donate the items you no longer need to the ReStore. We can turn those donations into new homes for our families!

Family Partners Needed
We are trying to reach even more families in need of safe, decent, affordable housing to see if they qualify for our program. If you know of someone who may benefit from our program, please let them know about our orientation sessions coming up in March and April. Attendance at an orientation is manditory, so the sooner prospective homeowners attend, the sooner they can get the application process going. More information on the orientation process can be found here.
Volunteers Needed!
At Habitat for Humanity, the volunteers make all the difference! We often see a drop-off of volunteers over the summer months, but this is not good for the program. We need to keep building so that families can get into their new homes! If you can give us a day or half a day during the summer, we would appreciate it so much! More importantly, the family you build alongside will appreciate it, especially when they move into their new home. We need 100 volunteers per day, every day! Sign up for a week, a day, or half a day - whatever you can give will be wonderful! Call Jennifer at 251-476-7171 for more info or to sign up!
Please contact us if your group, church, organization, or business needs a volunteer opportunity. We can accomodate large or small groups, or individuals. Come have a day of fun and teambuilding, and learn how to build a house at the same time!
Please donate today!
We rely on donations to carry out our mission of helping low-income families obtain safe, decent, affordable housing. If you have $10, $100, or $1000 - it will help us build more houses. No amount is too small and no amount is insignificant. If every person receiving this e-newsletter donated $10, we could get started on a new house! If everyone donated $100, we could build two houses. Please donate whatever you can to Habitat for Humanity and help make an investment in the futures of our families - your neighbors - here in Mobile County. Click here to donate.
