Updates from ICLEI's Global Sustainability Network
November 2012, Edition # 3

Dear friends and colleagues,

This edition is about climate.
ICLEI responds to climate change through its Low Carbon City Agenda and Resilient City Agenda where Member Cities benefit from cutting-edge technical support tools, broad networking opportunities, leadership of global initiatives and active contribution to global advocacy. In Local Action, ICLEI Member Cities show how mobilization at the local level can scale-up reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, enhance preparedness to climate risks, thereby improving the well-being of communities and the environment.
This is our key message at
the UN climate summit in Dohathe global level of ambition can only be raised when local governments are fully engaged as governmental stakeholders at all levels of the global climate regime.
