Visit Shorepower at NATSO
Come see us at Booth #339 at the National Association of Truck Stop Owners (NATSO) annual trade show from February 27-March 3rd in Las Vegas. Held this year at Caesars Palace, the NATSO Show is attended by senior professionals from all major truckstop chains and hundreds of independent locations. Shorepower will have our TSE pedestal on display and be talking about our next generation system.
Praise for Shorepower
We
always like customer feedback and recently received an email from a
driver praising Shorepower and asking about our expansion.
"I
was wondering about [availability of Shorepower in] Texas since Dallas
county enabled a no idling law without warning and drivers are being
fined like you wouldn't believe. Shorepower is way cheaper than
IdleAire and the connection is simple. I hate that huge module that
requires a $10 window adapter. Then if you want to view the additional
44 channels to total 66 in all, that costs extra. And the membership
costs extra that requires renewal every 6 months or you pay full price
of $2.85 per hour versus the low price which is no where near your low
price. I hope the shore power network continues to grow."
Note:
Shorepower will begin the national rollout in the first quarter of 2010
with the goal of having 50 new sites within the next two years.
Clean Transportation Education
Shorepower is an alternative fuel technology partner in the Clean Transportation Education Project (CTEP) is a coordinated program that will conduct 48 workshops across the nation for Clean Cities Coalitions, teaching about fuel economy and idle reduction, among other things. The workshops will start in the spring of 2010 and continue through September 2011.
Other partners include Clean Energy, Inc.; the Roundtable on Sustainable Biofuels; the Alternative Fuel Vehicle Institute; Duke Energy; and Progress Energy.
