We have accomplished much this year!
- Awarded accredited status by the Land Trust Accreditation Commission,
- Acquired 328 additional acres bringing the total acres conserved to over 2,073 acres,
- Completed over 1 mile of handicap accessible boardwalk on Lucedale's Depot Creek,
- Developed Jackson County's first blueway on Old Fort Bayou,
- Produced our second documentary film titled "Turkey Creek - Stewardship and Sustainability",
- Brought
educational outreach programs to over 2,200 attendees through our
Watershed Harmony Puppet Show, NatureFest, Adopt-a-Stream water testing
workshops, Green Infrastructure workshops, and area festivals, and
- Replanted over 33,000 trees!
