Fundraiser For Haiti June 10th, 2010Everyone is invited to attend a fundraising barbeque that Langford City Hall staff are hosting to raise funds for the City of Langford Community Project Helping the Children of Haiti. They are having the barbeque in front of City Hall and the Fire Department is bringing over the mobile Kitchen. The barbeque will include hamburgers, hot dogs, chips and soft drinks. In addition, they will be serving the best ice cream and strawberries you have ever tasted! Please tell your friends and neighbours and come on down. 11:45 am to 2:00 pm.

open to assist businesses with their summer employment needs. The Centre
provides employers with a location to post job openings on their online

BC Transit Public Open Houses
BC Transit is hosting two Public Open Houses to voice your questions and concerns about the transit issues affecting the WestShore, and in particular, the future of rapid transit in our area. The meeting is being held at WestShore Parks and Recreation, Lookout Lounge, 1767 Island Hwy., Tuesday, June 8, 4 to 8 p.m.
