Things to Bring

A BIBLE: our Bible Study leader is the Rev. Kendra Mohn (Trinity, Fort Worth)

AN OFFERING: from you and your congregation to help launch the DiscipleLife Alive! initiative.  Be generous.  This is an incredible new undertaking.  Learn more.

MEMORIAL NAMES: at each assembly we remember those who have gone before us in faith during the previous year by entering their names in our Book of Remembrance.  The book will be located just inside the main hall of the conference center.

YOUR CELL PHONE: we will be using a call-in number for those who want a translation (Spanish-English; English-Spanish).  Also, you will be able to get "tweets" from our assembly media journalists.

A LAPTOP: you will be able to get regular updates and information about the assembly on our assembly's Facebook page.  Click here.

BOOK OF REPORTS: be sure to read and bring with you these three parts of the Book of Reports (or have them on your laptop):
Part A   ~   Part B   ~   Part C

THE PROPOSED AGENDA -- be sure your copy of Part A has the updated version of the Proposed Agenda (the one dated 4/14/11).  If not, download the updated agenda by clicking here.

THE BISHOP'S REPORT -- be sure your copy of Part B has Bishop Kanouse's report within it.  If not, download the report by clicking here.

A SMILE -- rostered leaders are urged to stop by the photographer's place (Room 1) to have your picture taken for our NT-NL Online Photo Gallery.  If you are new, or don't have a picture in the gallery, or just want to try to get a better picture, visit the photographer.

A SWEATER -- you may find the temperatures in the hall too cool.

SOME NICE CLOTHES -- You're welcome to dress up for our Saturday evening banquet.

CASH & CHECK BOOK -- You might want to purchase a DiscipleLife polo shirt or items from Sierra Leone.

AN ENERGETIC ATTITUDE -- You'll be part of an assembly that is charting a new future for the congregations of the NT-NL.  We are making history.

Things to Leave Behind

DO IT YOURSELF ASSEMBLY: have someone or some group ready back home to have their own Serving DiscipleLife Day -- being in service and in mission just as the Voting Members and assembly visitors are.  Learn more.

A REPORTER: have someone back home notify us at the assembly of what is going on at their home location as a part of Serving DiscipleLife.  Phone the information in (614.403.0060) or send an email to the assembly media journalists (ntnl.missiontechnology@gmail.com).  Send a picture too.  We want to hear from you.

Things to Know

TRAVEL & PARKING:  Driving directions are found on the Hurst Conference Center web site.  Click here.

REGISTRATION: When you arrive, first check in at your hotel, then come to the lobby area of the Hurst Conference Center.  The registration desk is located at the entrance to the Main Hall.

SIGN IN FOR DISCIPLELIFE DAY: At the registration desk you will find a second desk to assist you in signing up for our Serving DiscipleLife Day activities (Saturday afternoon).  You'll also receive a T-shirt to wear for the activities.

YOUR FIRST ASSEMBLY?  There will be an Introduction to the Assembly for New and Returning Voting Members and others on Friday at 1:00 p.m. in the Main Hall.  Also, there are some helpful documents online.
