Irish Agents Sign with Amadeus
Tour America, KT Travel, Society Travel, McGuill Travel, Mullingar Travel and O’Driscoll Travel have all renewed their existing agreements for Amadeus to supply their travel technology for a further 3 or 5 years. Further more, 5 agents (Travel World, Killiney Travel, SOL International, Just Split and Travel Bookers) have recently moved to Amadeus. Read more ...

A summer party was hosted by Amadeus at the Shearwater Hotel in Ballinasloe for the agents in the area. Held on Friday 1st July on a beautiful summer evening the event was a great success. Northern Ireland Travel Trade News Golf Classic
Amadeus were delighted to attend this year’s Northern Ireland Travel Trade News Golf Classic. The event was held at the beautiful Hilton Templepatrick golf resort and hotel, located close to Belfast International Airport. It was a perfect June day with glorious sunshine from start to finish. The event was very well attended by travel agents from Northern Ireland along with a number of suppliers from North and South of the border. Our Amadeus team was made up of Volker Lorenz, Amadeus Ireland, Neil Walker of Feherty Travel, Cliff Garland of Barrhead Travel and Alan Scott of Selective Travel. Amadeus were also delighted to sponsor the 8th hole on the course. Golf was followed by a gala dinner and entertainment with the host for the night being Julian Simmons. See the photos ...

Product Updates 
e-Support Centre
Since the launch of e-Support Centre, agents have been able to check solutions to error messages resulting in less time spent contacting the helpdesk by phone or email. If a solution cannot be found, a case can be opened and sent to us for further investigation.
The competition to win EUR200 for any valid cased logged via e-Support Centre and sent to us is almost coming to a close, so as the old saying goes "if you are not in you cant win".

Local Security Officer
Have you appointed a Local Security Officer in your Agency? The Local Security Officer will have the access to create and update agent signs within your Office. Password resets may then be handled locally rather than having to contact the Helpdesk. There is just one simple entry to reset an Agent sign.
Please log an e-Support Centre case providing the Office ID and the agent sign which should be updated with this access. We will then provide you with further details on how to administrate your Office’s sign-bank.

All Nippon Airways (NH)
All Nippon Airways (ANA), Japan’s leading airline group, and Amadeus, a leading transaction processor and provider of advanced technology solutions for the global travel and tourism industry, today announced that ANA will become the first Japanese airline to implement Amadeus’ Altéa Customer Management Solution.
ANA’s migration to Amadeus Altéa will mark a major step in the group’s initiative to modernise and consolidate its passenger service system, as the airline replaces its existing legacy system which has served it for the past twenty years. Read more ...
