This Weekend: 350 Climate Actions
Join a candlelight vigil this weekend, to shine the light of climate activism on the Copenhagen Talks.
Vigils are taking place all over the state. MCAN Chapters that we know are holding events include Acton, Arlington, Boston, Brookline, Cambridge, Chelmsford, Dedham, Greenfield, Great Barrington, Harvard, Marlborough, Needham, Newton, Northampton, Salem, Cohassett, and Sudbury.

MCAN is co-sponsoring the Boston vigil, and MCAN Program Manager Fred Schlicher will be speaking at it. Other sponsors include Cooperative Metropolitan Ministries, Global Warming Education Network, Greenpeace USA, Green Rainbow Party, Home Energy-Efficiency Team, JP Greenhouse, Massachusetts Coalition for Healthy Communities Massachusetts Council of Churches, Ocean River Institute, and Students for a Just and Stable Future.
The Copenhagen Climate Talks are taking place through December 18, Take part by watching the webcasts as they happen or afterward.
