STUDIO POTTER NCECA REPORT
Thanks to you, our members, SP had an amazing NCECA this year in Philadelphia! It was a success on every level, from the poster give-away to our SP Members' Reception on Friday night. Our table events were exciting! We gained many new members and got amazing feedback. Thank you for your continued support of SP.
We would like to say a special thank you to Robbie Lobell for helping us with NCECA.
Student Awards: Winners received a one-year SP membership. Each award for college students was chosen by Board of Directors member Nick Sevigney. The K-12 awards were chosen by Board of Directors member Harriet Brisson.

This was a rare autographed edition of our SP Trading cards that we raffled off at our table at NCECA---Congratulations Louise!
SP MEMBERS' RECEPTION AT NEIGHBORHOOD POTTERS
The Studio Potter Members' Reception at Neighborhood Potters in Philadelphia was a HUGE success! It was our way of thanking you for all of your support this year!
Members Sandi Pierantozzi & Neil Patterson graciously lent their studio for the festivities. The reception was held Friday April 2nd. Editor Mary Barringer, SP board members, members and many artists that contribute articles were in attendance.

Thank you to photographer and friend Jenna Stamm who took great photos (as you can see below) in addition to making the herbed potatoes and seasonal kielbassa served with 5 mustards, she also prepared Stoplight salad, nutritious veggie and fruit platters and innumerable dips, tapenades and spreads. Sweets were provided by several board members. Pennsylvania pretzels brought by our editor, Mary Barringer were a huge hit.
Thank you to BOD Director Tom O'Malley, the last minute fill in for Nick Sevingney who was unexpectedly called away by his students, who bought the beer from a local store near Sandi and Neil's studio.
Thank you to BOD members Nick Sevigney and Nancy Magnusson for all of their planning efforts--well worth it!

Several Board members convened at exactly 5pm, rapidly converted the gallery into a luscious party place. Cases were carried in from cars, food arrived in crock pots and bags, all was set up and served on the food table, surrounded by shelves and tables of pottery.

Consistent with potters everywhere, all the food was consumed, as people stood around the table enjoying all the various goodies!
It was a great party!
