LOCAL HUB BICYCLE CO. - SEPTEMBER 16




Just Ride Dallas and Local Hub have teamed up to bring you a bike party in the heart of Deep Ellum sponsored by Red Bull, PBR, and Durty Laundry. Event kicks off with a social ride at 7:30pm starting at Local Hub. Gold Sprints start at 8:30pm. Entry fee for the Gold Sprints is $5 and all proceeds go towards funding a book bike for the Dallas Public Library. September 16, 2016 at 7:00pm.

Yo! 90s Hip Hop Party with Vanilla Ice, Coolio, Tone Toc, 2 Live Crew, Young MC, Christy Ray, Tyler Sloan. Doors open at 7:00pm, Show begins at 8:00pm. 
  


UMBRELLA GALLERY - SEPTEMBER 17



Umbrella Gallery presents "Miles Between", a painting exhibition by Kati Ramer and Katie Craig, exploring their personal journeys from California to Texas by working with memories of the landscapes of their origins. Closing reception is Saturday, September 17th from 6:00pm-9:00pm. 


    DEEP VELLUM BOOKS - SEPTEMBER 27



    Open Letter Books, in partnership with Deep Vellum Publishing, celebrate Danish author Josefine Klougart's English-language debut, One of Us is Sleeping (Open Letter), and her second English-language publication, Of Darkness (Deep Vellum), with an event on Tuesday September 27 at Deep Vellum Books at 3000 Commerce Street from 7:00pm-9:00pm.  
       


            DEEP VELLUM BOOKS - SEPTEMBER 28 & 29




    The French Embassy in the United States proudly sponsors Mauritian novelist and scholar Ananda Devi as she reads from and discusses her award-winning, hearbreakingly poignant book, Eve Out of Her Ruins (Deep Vellum), at The Wild Detectives on Wednesday September 28 at 7:00pm and at the University of Texas in Dallas on Thursday, September 29 at 5:00pm.

      For the next month, Crowdus Street will be transformed into even more of a public art space than normal thanks to Reimagine Crowdus.

      Reimagine Crowdus hits the streets of Deep Ellum for month-long test of design and activities. . .New arrivals in the neighborhood come with The Nines, Niwa Japanese BBQ, Hide... Double Wide celebrates 13 years
