"While clothes may not make the woman, they certainly havea strong effect on her self-confidence--which, I believe, does make the woman." Mary Kay Ashe
Greetings Pat!
Makeup Tips to Speed You Through Your Morning Routine Who wouldn't want to look great everyday but not spend a lot of time in front of the makeup mirror. Here are a few tips for your morning makeup routine. 1. Multi-task. Use your time wisely. Do you use a toner and stand there doing nothing while it dries? Use that time to complete other grooming tasks. Use your toner, then dry your hair or pluck your eyebrows. Then put on your moisturizer and while it's drying, use your curling iron or flat iron. While your hair is cooling down, put on your foundation. While that's setting, finish styling your hair. 2. Don't sweat the small stuff. Do you agonize if your eyeliner isn't exactly placed? Remember that you are looking at yourself a few inches away from a magnifying mirror. Step back and look at the overall picture. If anyone gets so close that they can tell that both eyes aren't made up the same, then they are so close that you are either going to kiss them or slap them. In either case, who cares about your makeup. 3. Have the right products. You don't need 20 eyeshadow and 5 blushes. You only need a few colors, but they have to be the right colors. Eyeshadows in your skin tones, hair color, eye color, and, for evening, one in a dramatic. Eyeliners in your eye color or a dramatic color. A blush to match your hemoglobin skin tone. Two lipsticks--one to match your related red and one to match your hemoglobin skin tone. A lipliner to match.
