Shown here is an assortment from the runway showing the season's statement necklace. We see extra-large scale, we see heavy-weight, we see pieces that are memorable. These pieces are not easily integrated into an existing wardrobe, but rather become "outfit specific." Is this look current? Yes, but trends come and go. The trap in spending lies in the lack of longevity with these types of purchases and the relationship disconnect between the jewelry and the woman. Women who wish to be trendy will buy pieces that are worn for a short while and then it will either sit in a drawer or be given away. Let's not forget, she will be looking at photos of herself years from now and reminiscing of similar madness we saw in the 80's! |

I belong to the Association of Image Consultants International (AICI), the leading organization for supporting image consultants. To maintain credibility and excellence in the profession, AICI offers three levels of certification. I am proud to announce that I have completed the requirements and have been awarded the First Level Certification. In addition to passing a 100 question exam on various aspects of image, I submitted a portfolio documenting my training, business identity, and proficiency through client evaluations.
